Accreditation Programmes who ensure that websites audited and validated are securely processing information that could be used to subvert a Buyer’s personal data, credit card details or cause any harm through hacking, viruses or other intervention related to data exchange such as denial of service etc.

Halal Trustmark Accreditation Programme

The Halal Trustmark Accreditation Programme and the Code of Practice are based on the Malaysian Standard on Halal Food (MS 1500:2009) incorporating Production, Preparation, Handling and Storage in the certification of Halal Products and Services

Business to Consumer (B2C) Trustmark Accreditation Programme

The Business to Consumer (B2C) Trustmark Accreditation Programme and the Code of Practice are based on the international practices of Trustmarks established by the World Trustmark and Trade Alliance (WTA). The B2C Code of Practice includes 7 Core Principles which are Disclosure, Communications, Fulfilment, Privacy/Data Protection, Security, Dispute Resolution and Child Protection. The B2C Trustmark Programme aims to encourage best business practices by eMerchants and to assist consumers in identifying eMerchants that they can trust. When consumers visit an online store or website bearing the B2C Trustmark Seal, they will know that this eMerchant has been audited and meets the standards stipulated in the B2C Trustmark Programme Code of Practice. By having a global presence, World Mark also ensures comparable level of protection for consumers across national boundaries. Thus, eMerchants who adhere to the B2C Trustmark Programme Code of Practice would gain international recognition as trusted and reliable eMerchant by consumers worldwide.

Business to Business (B2B) Trustmark Accreditation Programme

The Business to Business (B2B) Trustmark Accreditation Programme and the Code of Practice are based on the international practices of Trustmarks established by the World Trustmark and Trade Alliance (WTA). The B2B Code of Practice includes 12 Core Principles which are Identification, Legitimate Transactions, Communications, Company Profile and Business Information, Privacy/Data Protection, Quality of Products/Services, Capacity for Fulfillment, Timeliness of Delivery, Payment, Information Security and Dispute Resolution. The B2B Trustmark Accreditation Programme aims to promote trust and confidence in the (B2B) eCommerce spectrum, especially in the digital environment where companies frequently trade with new and unknown parties, often across national borders. The B2B Trustmark Accreditation Programme is an accreditation program that facilitates B2B transactions and awards to e-marketplaces and their constituent transacting parties. The Trustmark is targeted at buyers and sellers trading in B2B marketplaces where large savings are often possible by eliminating intermediaries. The B2B Trustmark Accreditation Programme aims to establish a certain level of trust and transparency to overcome the anonymity and uncertainty inherent in eCommerce involving both buyers and sellers. With the emergence of e-marketplaces creating the platform for virtual communities of buyers and sellers to interact with one another, the significance of mutual compatible business practices of both buyers and sellers are essential for the smooth functioning of the e-marketplaces.
